5 kW PV Giveaway Contest Terms Of Service

  • Draw Date to be from launch post date until April 30 2025

  • Entrants must be of Legal age in the province of Alberta

  • One Provided 5KW (DC) System to be Silver frame 500W Longi modules,SolarEdge Inverter & Optimizers with a standard single electrical connection installed on residential pitched roof.

  • Changes or additional special project requirements may be extra.

  • Contest period may be changed as needed without notice, valid upon reaching 140 valid & complete entries. A second prize of 5kW DC system will be added if 1000 valid and confirmed entries are received. This will be confirmed on draw date.

  • Contest area to cover up to 20km from Anthony Henday ring

    road, additional costs to apply beyond that range.

  • Winner may transfer/assign the project to any address within

    the service area if their residence is not within the coverage zone. (Winner may put it on a friend/relatives/rental property provided permission and conditions allow).

  • 1 Valid referral must be supplied who completes a solar proposal review (sales) meeting prior to the contest end date.

  • Multiple entries allowed, each entry must contain 1 valid

    and unique referral to be considered at draw time.

  • Winner can upgrade or change system after winning, additional

    costs may apply.

  • Referrals connected to a valid entry will receive an $800 bonus added to their potential future project and both referrals connected to the winning entry will receive a $1,500 discount on their PV project as well as the $800 bonus gift.

  • A Skill testing question must be answered to claim the prize in accordance with Canadian regulations. "If Solar Panels are 500 Watts each, how many will we need to build a 5000 Watt System?" or "What is 5000 / 500?"

  • Special requirements to install PV system which are not

    included in the giveaway may be services such as electrical service equipment replacement, additional subpanels, or other non-standard site specific needs/client requests. Extreme site conditions such as steep roof pitch/non-standard roofing materials may require additional cost considerations.

  • The cost to install 2 fall arrest safety anchors is included

    in this giveaway package.

  • Installation subject to scheduling and regulatory requirements.

  • Full installation warranty on all equipment and workmanship

    will be provided.

  • Additional services and products to be offered at extra cost

    for client consideration.
